Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. filed an electric rate increase request with the Montana Public Service Commission on Thursday, Aug. 12.

Not much is known at this time about a reported possible shooting in Froid, said Roosevelt County Under Sheriff Ron Kemp.

This year’s Roosevelt County Fair will be held Wednesday, Aug. 11, through Saturday, Aug. 14, in Culbertson, highlighted by the Buddy Jewell concert.

Buddy Jewell will be performing at the Roosevelt County Fair on Friday night, Aug. 13, at the Culbertson Saddle Club. The concert will begin at 8 p.m.
