THE SCOBEY SCHOOL kindergarten class was treated to pizza and juice last week by the Daniels County Sheriff Department and Outlaw Trail Cafe for passing a challenge. They did their first reading assessment at 100 percent accuracy, reading some
beginning sounds, a few sight words and pictures from their new reading series. The pizzas were purchased with a small portion of a $1,000 grant from Wal Mart given to the D.C. Sheriff Department. Pictured seated in the front row from left are Dylan Linder, Jimi Jones, Daisy Hersel, JP Braut, Kylee Anderson, Emily Anderson, Keanna Sondergaard and Abby Willis; back row from left, Jenna Linder, Lucas Linder, Chance Long, Reagan Machart, Whitley Maher, Colter Oie, Sierra Partridge, Hailee Richardson, Gage Southland, Zachary Turner and Tim Weltikol. Standing are Robin Bartlett of Outlaw Trail Cafe and D.C. Sheriff Skip Baldry. — Leader Photo, mike
