The Wolf Point High School golf team has worked hard all season, and the dedication has paid off, particularly for T’Elle Evans who will be competing in the state tournament.
At the April 5 Malta meet, Ikaika Edmunson scored 126 and Evans scored 102, earning her second-place.
At the April 19 Rocky Boy meet, Easton Copenhaver won third-place with a score of 86.
At the April 26 Glasgow meet, Edmunson scored 115 and Copenhaver scored 83, taking second. Evans scored 92, winning first-place.
On May 3 at the Harlem meet, Copenhaver scored 87, putting him in fourth- place. He placed ninth at the Whitewater meet with a score of 89 on May 4.
The team competed against Poplar May 8. Edmunson scored 105 and Evans placed first with 89.
At the May 10 Malta pre-divisional meet, Edmunson scored 116 and Evans took first-place once again with 89.
Copenhaver scored 97, placing 24th at the May 11 Malta divisional meet and Edmunson scored 109, placing 41st. Evans rose to the top in the girls’ division, scoring 95 and securing fourth-place.
Evans is currently preparing for the state tournament, which will be held at Eagle Bend Golf Course in Big Fork May 21-22.
