In singles at the divisional tennis meet, Wolves’ #1 Carry Vandall went 3-1 to take third and qualify for state. Vandall defeated Baker’s Miller, 4-6, 6-3, 6-3; defeated fellow Wolf
Erin Presser 10-7; and defeated Baker’s Miller again 10-4 for third-place.
Wolves’ #2 Ky’Anna Broesder went 2-2, defeating Forsyth’s French 6-1/ 6-0 and had to play fellow teammate Kymree Flynn, which she won 10/4.

Flynn went 0-2. Flynn worked really hard and played good matches against tough opponents, said coach Dan Horsmon.
Wolves’ #4 Erin Presser went 2-1 and was able to defeat Forsyth’s #1 singles, Amanda Klien.
In doubles, Wolves #1 duo Alyssa Hoversland and Ashley Parsley went 2-0, winning the doubles divisional title and are state- bound after defeating Baker’s #2 doubles team and Forsyth’s #1 doubles team.
Wolves’ #2 team Zirahuen Hernandez and Sierra Hanks went 2-1, taking third. They also qualifed for state and defeated Forsyth’s #1 and #2 doubles.
“I am so proud of all the girls,” said Horsmon. “They are all so coachable. We ended in second-place for divisionals behind Baker by six points. Next step is state and we hope to return with some hardware.”
