Eleven members of the Circle Rifle Club traveled to the Big Sky State Games in Billings, Friday and Saturday, July 18 and 19.
All were shooting in the smallbore and air rifle events.
The events were: smallbore three position, 60 shot; smallbore prone, 40 shot; air rifle three position, 30 shot; and air rifle standing, 40 shot. Air rifle is further broken into precision class, and sporter class.
Medal winners were: Abby Belus, two gold, one silver; Anica Wagner, three gold, one silver; Angie Belus, coach, two gold; Cassi Wagner, two gold; Chase Breitbach, two gold, two silver; Emily Richardson, one gold, one silver; HaYoon Rush, two gold, two bronze; Lucas Shefflebine, one bronze; Perry Breitbach, coach, one gold, one bronze; Shelby Breitbach, two gold, one bronze; Tio Brody, two gold, two silver.
The following shooters won a medal in each event entered. Chase Breitbach, Abby Belus, Angie Belus, Perry Breitbach, Tio Brody, HaYoon Rush, Anica Wagner and Cassi Wagner.
The total medal count for the event was 19 gold, six silver and five bronze.
The day before leaving for Billings, the club received six Anschutz air rifles through a grant from Friends of the NRA.
