Lady Wolves Beat Harlem

To begin the night for the Lady Wolves, the C and junior varsity squads both won their games against the Harlem Lady Wildcats Friday.
The Lady Wolves varsity team got off to a sluggish start, ending the first period with a one-point lead. Lady Wolves’ coach Jeff Neubauer lit a fire under them for the second period and, by the half, Wolf Point held the lead, 23-15.


Near the end of the game, the Lady Wildcats closed the gap and forced the Lady Wolves to step it up to secure a 40-35 victory.
Leading scorers for the Lady Wolves were Jessica Bauer, 11; Mariah Weeks, 8; and Sonica Archdale, 6.
The Lady Wolves’ next games will be Friday, Jan. 24, when they host Plentywood with games starting at 3:30, and 6:30 p.m.
