Lustre Ladies In Varsity Action

The Lady Lions volleyball team is back in varsity competition once again, which they have not been since 2008.

They are a young team, with only one senior; small in size but mighty in energy and determination. Coach Mary Zerbe says that they serve the God of David, not the god of Goliath. The team shows a lot of potential and are embracing every opportunity to grow.

They have not scored any match wins as yet, but  have won several individual games.

They continue their season play with two home games this week, one on Thursday with Nashua and a triangular on Saturday, with an away game in between at Circle Sept. 20.

Other home games are scheduled for Oct. 11, 15 and 19, with Glasgow JV, Harlem and Savage, respectively.

Away games will be at Glasgow Sept. 27, and a triangular in Brockton Sept. 28 and an invite at Scobey Oct. 5.  The final games for the regular season will be a triangular at Culbertson Oct. 26.
