Frontier School’s Lady Mustangs traveled to Plentywood to compete in the junior high volleyball jamboree on Saturday, Sept. 8, where both the A and B teams went 1-1.
Frontier’s A team won against Plentywood 25-19, 25-19, 15-9, but lost to Sco-bey 17-25, 19-25.
Mandi Martin had 17 serves and 10 extra efforts; Jadyn Myrick had 10 serves and seven spikes; and Kelsie Neubauer had two serves and five extra efforts. Ashtyn Hetges had nine serves and four spikes; Charlene Allmer had nine serves and one extra effort; and Aubrey Zilkoski had one serve, six spikes and one extra effort. Kylie Kirkaldie had 14 serves, three aces and one spike, while Patience Muth had seven serves and four extra efforts.
The Frontier B team won against Plentywood 25-8, 25-17, 15-12, but was defeated by Scobey 25-12, 19-25, 6-15.
Brenna Kurokawa had 28 serves and seven extra efforts, Madison Kinzie had three serves, Elizabeth Zimmer had seven serves and Samantha Goodman had eight serves and two extra efforts. Anamarie Long had 14 serves and one extra effort, Mary Bighorn had six serves, and Kassandra Kirkaldie had four serves, two spikes and three extra efforts. Semarah Wells had two serves, three spikes and two extra efforts.
The next jamboree for the Frontier ladies will be in Glasgow on Saturday, Sept. 15.
