Wilma Arleen Simonson, 70, of Billings, died at her home Friday, May 10, 2013.
She was born March 30, 1943, to William and Mary Knorr in Wolf Point and had six siblings.
On July 29, 1962, she married Lyle Simonson in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, and spent 21 years as a military spouse. She worked for Albertson’s for 11 years and in airport security for two years.
She loved to read and sew and was very creative. She made all of her grandchildren’s costumes. She was very caring, nurturing and giving and family was of the utmost importance to her.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Lawrence Reddog, Leland Reddog, Lyle Reddog and Ervin Reddog; and sisters, LaVerne Miller and Irene Scott.
She is survived by her husband, Lyle of Billings; children, Lorie Hunt of Joliet, Natalie Gore of St. Paul, Minn., Kris Simonson of Seattle, Wash., and Nathan Simonson of Billings; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, at Cremation & Funeral Gallery in Billings.
