Sadie Mae (Follet) Blount, 66, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at the Billings Clinic in Billings.
She was born Sept. 20, 1946, in Poplar, the daughter of Harry Follet Sr. and Mildred (White) Follet. She was raised in the Oswego and Frazer areas and attended Frazer Schools.
On Nov. 9, 1963, she married Harold Dean Blount at his mother’s home in Frazer. They raised their nine children in Frazer. She was an excellent homemaker.
She loved playing Bingo and actually won a 1999 Dodge Neon once, spending time with her family and attending all her grandsons’ sporting events and ball games. She was very proud of Markell at the state cross country meet, when he placed in the top 10.
She was a member of the Cansuska Presbyterian Church and enjoyed being a mother and grandmother. She raised three grandsons as her own, Jaylan, Markell and Korbin Blount.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Abel, Harry Jr. and Elvis; and a sister, Arlene Gomez.
Survivors include her husband, Dean Blount of Frazer; three daughters: Carol Wallette of Wolf Point, Vicki Dahl of Williston, N.D., and Melanie Blount of Frazer; sons, Thomas Blount of Frazer, Richard Blount of Wolf Point, Waylan Blount of Wolf Point, Roger White Sr. of Wolf Point and Russell White of Oswego; a brother, Tyrus Follet of Wolf Point; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 29, at the Frazer High School gymnasium. Burial was in the Oswego Presbyterian Cemetery in Oswego.
