Daisy Fisher

Daisy Lynn (Martell) Fisher, 58, of Poplar died at Billings Clinic on July 11, 2018.
She was born in Poplar Sept. 16, 1959. She grew up in Poplar, Wolf Point and Glasgow.
She was an avid beader and is known by many for her beautiful beadwork. She gave her brothers and sisters guidance in her younger years, which always included her love that she got from her mother that she shared with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was brave and never worried through tough times. She passed on her traits to her daughters and son, who she says were her life’s greatest gifts.
She met Harold Fisher Jr. in 1976. They married and had three daughters, Devona Fisher, Amber Fisher and Angelica Fisher; and one son, Corwin Fisher. They lived in Lame Deer for a few years and then moved to Poplar where they resided until her death.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Fisher Jr. of Poplar; daughters, Devona Fisher, Amber Fisher and Angelica Fisher, all of Poplar; son, Corwin Fisher of Poplar; brothers, Richard Garfield of Sweet Home, Ore., Maynard Prentice of Bismarck, N.D., Alan Owens of Billings, Denny Owens of Poplar and Troy Owens of Wolf Point; sisters, Paula Owens of Poplar and Christie Owens of Washington; 18 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; half siblings, Alan Martell, Charlene Martell, Rick Martell and Timothy Martell; adopted daughters, Sudi Pipe, Denise Bear and Candice Black Dog; and adopted sister, Mary Anne “Squeaky” Comeslast.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Dennis “Adam” Owens Jr.; sister, April Owens; and half brother, Mark Martell.
Funeral services were held Thursday July 19, at the Poplar Cultural Center with interment at Chelsea Cemetery in Poplar. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
