Robert Wayne Deserly, 47, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, in Billings.
He was born Sept. 27, 1965, to Joseph Deserly Sr. and Geraldine (Clancy) Deserly. He attended schools in Wolf Point, Frazer and Billings.
He held various jobs and was a seasonal firefighter, seismographer and custodian for the Wolf Point School District. He also was well known for his mechanic skills.
Growing up, he was a member of the Blue Earth Boxing Club, becoming a three-time Golden Gloves champion and won numerous ribbons and trophies.
He met Althea Redstone in 1997 and they were blessed with three daughters. They were married Feb. 4, 2006.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jeff and Burton Deserly.
Het is survived by his wife, Althea of Wolf Point; children, Jacob P. Deserly and Tyson R. Deserly, both of Minnesota, Blessings Deserly of Wolf Point, Chelsea M. Deserly of Denver, Colo., Abrianne L. Deserly of Billings, Roberta R. Deserly of Glasgow, Mary M. Deserly of Wolf Point and Latoya D. Deserly of Poplar; 10 grandchildren with two on the way; brothers, Joseph Jr., Wilfred and Julian Deserly, all of Wolf Point; and sisters, Danielle Deserly of Chicago, Ill., and Jo Dahna Deserly of Wolf Point.
His funeral service was held Tuesday, Jan. 22, at the community hall in Wolf Point. Interment was at the King Memorial Cemetery in Wolf Point. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point was entrusted with the arrangements.
