Phyllis (Babcock) Peters, 68, of Wolf Point died late Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, after playing cards with her Bridge club.
There were many other activities she took pleasure in, such as quilting, bowling, lay leadership at First Presbyterian Church and running Harry’s Nite Club, but her greatest joy came from helping others.
Born in Vanport, Ore., she married Richard “Dickie” Peters in 1960.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Steffy and Earl Babcock Sr.; and her brother, Earl Babcock Jr.
She is survived by a daughter, The Rev. Brenda Sol of Dallas, Texas; son, Steven Peters of Wolf Point; and two granddaughters.
Funeral services were held at First Lutheran Church on Saturday, Sept. 29, with interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point was entrusted with the arrangements.
