William David Goodtrack, 35, of Wolf Point, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2012.
He was born June 12, 1977, to Evelyn Littlehead and Francis Goodtrack Sr. in Wolf Point. He attended school in Wolf Point and Portland, Ore. He received his GED and went on to obtain a trade as a carpenter and as a brick layer. He later attended college at the Fort Peck Community College.
He met Skye Belgarde in 2007 and two sons were born, Thomas and Steven Goodtrack.
He also had two sons who he cherished, Lucas Hamilton and Branton Frye. He was proud to get to know Lucas and have him in his life before his last days.
Things he enjoyed were hanging out with his boys, fishing and visiting with friends and family. He loved spending time with his numerous nieces and nephews. He loved to joke around and spin tall tales. He enjoyed nature and camping. He liked to sit down at the river and walk down memory lane about when he was a kid and all the fish he caught.
He is survived by his love, Skye Belgarde of Wolf Point; sons, Lucas Hamilton, Branton Frye, Thomas and Steven Goodtrack of Wolf Point; sisters, Frances Weeks, Olivia Jorgenson, Dyan Jorgenson, all of Wolf Point, and Karen Goodtrack of Poplar; brothers, Lionel Weeks, Duane Goodtrack, Francis Goodtrack, Michael Vandall, all of Wolf Point; father, Francis Goodtrack Sr. of Canada; and grandmother, Elaine Cantrell of Wolf Point.
His funeral service was held Thursday, Sept. 27, at the Community Hall in Wolf Point. Per his wishes, cremation was to take place following services. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point was entrusted with the arrangements.
