Ed Sofil, 85, died Feb. 23, 2014, at Faith Lutheran Home in Wolf Point.
He was the last surviving child of 11 children born to Della Mae and Henry Sofil of Hensler, N.D. He was born June 23, 1928, and lived his adult life in McCone County. He worked various jobs for Si Brown, Pete Mickolio and Melvin Johnson.
He lived for the past two years at Faith Lutheran Home in Wolf Point. He grew to love the residents and staff at Faith Home. He gave his life to the Lord in 1945 and was baptized in the Redwater River in 1950 by Pastor Lang.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 10:30 a.m. at the Vida Cemetery in Vida. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point was in charge of arrangements.
