Donald James “DJ” Luebke, 45, of Williston, N.D., died suddenly Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at Trinity Medical Center in Minot, N.D.
He was born on Feb. 22, 1968, to Donald H. and Eileen (Barr) Luebke in Butte. The family moved to different locations following his father’s work. He attended various schools across the country, where he received his education. The Luebke family moved to Williston in 1983.
He worked for various oil companies in Colorado and North Dakota through the years.
He enjoyed working and tinkering on cars and loved to fish. He was always dreaming of owning a Harley Davidson one day and used “want Harley” for his e-mail password.
He is survived by his parents of Williston; his son, Christian Weeks; and three brothers, Todd Lueb-ke of Peachtree City, Ga., Devin Luebke of Williston and Ryan Luebke of Williston.
His funeral service was held Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the New Hope Wesleyan Church in Williston. Pastor Chris Swarthout officiated and interment was in Riverview Cemetery in Williston.
