Tiffani J. Red Dog Hale, 43, of Wolf Point, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at the Billings Clinic in Billings.
She was the daughter of Pierre Youpee Sr. and Bonita Red Dog Youpee and was born Oct. 12, 1968, in Poplar. She attended school in Poplar and St. Labre, before attending Flandreau Indian School.
On March 1, 2000, she married Mervin Clarence Hale Jr. in Wolf Point. Together, they enjoyed hunting, fishing, yard work and watching football games. She loved to listen to music and visit with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Irene Turns Plenty; and a daughter, Diane Annette Lambert.
She is survived by her husband, Mervin Hale Jr. of Wolf Point; daughters, Cassandra Lambert, LaToya Lambert and Breanna Lambert, all of Wolf Pont; mother and step-father, Bonita and John Youpee of Poplar; father, Pierre Youpee of Poplar; brothers, Arnold Red Dog, Lance Ricker, Leslie Red Dog, Kalijah Good Soldier, Pierre Youpee Jr., Corey Youpee and Clifford Youpee, all of Poplar; step-brother, John Myrick of Poplar; and numerous grandchildren.
A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, at the Wolf Point Community Hall. Interment was at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Poplar. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point was entrusted with the arrangements.
