Naomi Vivian “Beebs” Adams, 80, died Sept. 10, 2013, in Billings.
She was born to Henry and Tena (Gives The Blanket) Archdale May 6, 1933, at the family home in Oswego.
She was a hard worker who worked endlessly to provide for her family: officially as a nurse’s aide, teacher, bartender and cashier. However, her job did not end there. She also was a taxi driver, babysitter, banker, counselor, coach, family nurse, family accountant, operator and, above all, a superhero to many. The truth is if anyone needed anything, she would go above and beyond to get exactly that. Her door was always open to whomever needed a place to stay.
In 1951, she married Tommy Dean Adams and, from that union, had 12 children.
She is survived by her children, Karen McLaughlin of Fort Yates, N.D., Monica Buckles of Poplar, Rodney Adams of Wolf Point, Lynette Adams of Nashua, Thayle “WeeGee” Adams of Wolf Point, Roy Adams of Frazer, Nadine Adams of Wolf Point, Kevin Adams of Wolf Point, Darin Adams of Wolf Point, Andrea Adams of Los Lunas, N.M., Michael Adams of Billings, Michelle Adams of North Redington Beach, Fla.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by five sisters; four brothers; and two grandsons, Edison Adams and Ryan “Moshe” Miller.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 17, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with interment at the Greenwood Cemetery in Wolf Point.
