Harold Paul Hamilton, 69, of Wolf Point, died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, at his home.
He was born April 4, 1944, to Harvey and Angel (Armstrong) Hamilton. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wolf Point.
He attended elementary and high school in Wolf Point. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. After being discharged, he joined the Peace Corps in Whitewater, Ariz. He attended the University of Montana, receiving a bachelor’s degree in social work.
He was married to Debra St. Germaine on May 10, 1973. They were blessed with a son, Dale Whitecloud Hamilton, in 1974. He enjoyed fishing with his son and wife. A favorite pastime of his was watching TV and listening to basketball games on the radio.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Harvey, Joe, Paul, David, Robert and Dale Hamilton; and sisters, Violet, Cynthia and Glaydas Hamilton.
He is survived by his wife, Debra, and son, Dale, of Wolf Point; adopted daughter, Heavynn Onstead of Wolf Point; stepdaughter, Pearl McConnell; and stepson, Simon Follet of Wolf Point.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, Aug. 24, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wolf Point. Interment followed at the Chicken Hill Cemetery in Wolf Point. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point was entrusted with the arrangements.
