The Poplar man who died after his vehicle ran off the road near Brockton Monday, Aug. 27, has been identified as Thurman White Eagle, 66.
White Eagle was traveling south on County Road 17-1037 when the Ford pickup he was driving veered off the west side of the road and crashed into an embankment. His car caught fire following the collision.
