Wolf Point Police And Fire Blotter For May 22

(Editor’s Note: The following blotter is a partial list of activities involving the Wolf Point police and volunteer fire departments between May 12 and 18. All those arrested or cited are presumed innocent.)
May 12
12:55 p.m., officers responded to a residence on the 200 block of Custer Street for a report of vandalism to a vehicle with a loss valued under $1,000. The investigation continues.
4:45 p.m., officers responded to a residence on the 500 block of Dawson Street and arrested John Yellow Robe Jr., 35, of Wolf Point, for criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, criminal contempt and unlawful possession of drugs.
10:31 p.m., officers responded to Town pump for a report of a man consuming food and refusing to pay. Royce Birdsbill, 22, of Wolf Point, was cited for theft.
May 13
11:44 a.m., police received a report of a telephone scam where someone claimed to represent Montana-Dakota Utilities, told people their utilities were about to be shut off and demanded payment by wire.
4:27 p.m., Git-n-Go and arrested Cody Spauer, 24, of Wolf Point, for disorderly conduct.
May 14
6:59 a.m., officers responded to Northside Elementary School for a report of vandalism with a loss valued under $1,000. The investigation continues.
12:21 p.m., officers responded to a residence on the 500 block of Edgar Street for a report of vandalism to a vehicle with a loss valued under $1,000. The investigation continues.
5:49 p.m., officers responded to a residence on the 100 block of Custer Street for a report of a man sleeping in front of Clayton-Stevenson Memorial Chapel and cited Joseph Muniz, 44, of Wolf Point, for criminal contempt and public intoxication.
8:24 p.m., officers responded to a residence on the 300 block of Dawson Street and arrested Garrett Paulson, 22, of Wolf Point, on a warrant.
May 15
4:57 p.m., officers responded to Wolf Point Liquor Market on the 200 block of Anaconda Street for a report of a person sleeping on the ground and arrested Daniel Moreno, a 40-year-old transient, for public nuisance.
7:29 p.m., officers responded to the Homestead Inn for a report of a disturbance and arrested Evron Davis Jr., 44, of Poplar, for possession of drug paraphernalia.
8:55 p.m., officers responded to a residence on the 400 block of Granville Street for a report of several juveniles left unattended and arrested the mother, Carmela Bearhill, 26, of Wolf Point, for child neglect, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
May 16
7:20 p.m., officers responded to a residence on the 900 block of West Cascade Street and arrested Edward Knupp, 30, of Wolf Point, on a warrant, and cited Lisa Eagle, 23, and Debbie Mason, 56, both of Wolf Point, for hindering law enforcement.
May 17
11:13 a.m., officers responded to a residence on the 200 block of Helena Street for a report of vandalism to a vehicle with a loss valued under $1,000. The investigation continues.
5:08 p.m., officers responded to Bryan’s on the 200 block of Main Street for a report of a disturbance and arrested Julie Acheson, 52, of Wolf Point, for domestic abuse.
6:01 p.m., firefighters responded to a grass fire 18 miles north of Wolf Point with two trucks and four firefighters.
6:20 p.m., officers observed a man sleeping on the ground at First Avenue South and Custer Street and cited Joseph Muniz, 44, of Wolf Point, for public intoxication.
May 18
4:33 a.m., officers responded to a residence on the 400 block of Custer Street for a report of trespass to a vehicle and arrested Margie War Club, 31, of Wolf Point, for criminal trespass, possession of drug paraphernalia, aggravated disorderly conduct and a tribal court warrant.
11:20 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Custer Street for a report of a motor vehicle accident with no injuries. Jason Stiles, 39, of Wolf Point, was cited for operating without liability insurance.

In addition to the above calls, the WPPD responded to the following calls between May 12 and 18: civil standby, three; domestic disturbance, one; public assistance, 17; motor vehicle accident, two; removal of unwanted individuals, 15; animal complaints, five; assist other agency, five; unfounded report, 16; and driving complaints, two.
