Wolf Point Police And Fire Blotter For May 15

(Editor’s Note: The following blotter is a partial list of activities involving the Wolf Point Police Department and Volunteer Fire Department between May 5 and 11. Fire calls were not available. All those arrested or cited are presumed innocent.)
May 5
10:26 a.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Main Street for a minor motor vehicle accident and cited Daniel Dehart Jr., 26, of Williston, N.D., for careless driving.
11:15 a.m., officers responded to Sherman Park and cited Steven Pellette, 33, of Wolf Point, for public intoxication.
2:45 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Fairweather Street for a report of trespass with no reported loss. The investigation continues.
3:35 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Custer Street and arrested Rachel Blaquiure, 33, of Wolf Point, on a warrant.
4:44 p.m., officers are investigating a report that an adult male was attempting to kidnap a nine-year-old boy by trying to persuade the child to get into his car on the 200 block of Benton Street. The boy ran and his mother reported the incident to police.
7:59 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Custer Street for a report of a theft from a residence with a loss valued under $1,000. The investigation continues.
11:08 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Helena Street and arrested Melvin Martell, 37, of Wolf Point, for disorderly conduct.
May 6
11:48 a.m., officers responded to East Custer Street for a report of an erratic driver and cited Dale Wilson, 60, of Wolf Point, for driving under the influence and driving without a license.
6:30 p.m., officers and firefighters responded to a structure fire that destroyed a shed in the 300 block of Fairweather Street and arrested a 10-year-old Wolf Point male for arson.
7:30 p.m., officers responded to the area of Albertson’s for a report of an erratic driver and cited a 13-year-old Wolf Point female for no driver’s license.
10:04 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Fairweather Street for a report of a theft from a residence with a loss valued under $1,000. The investigation continues.
11:10 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Third Avenue South and arrested Larry Long, 41, of Frazer, for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
May 7
7:40 a.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Fairweather Street for a report of a theft from a residence with a loss valued under $1,000. The investigation continues.
1:29 p.m., officers responded to the McDonald’s parking lot for a report of vandalism to a vehicle with a loss valued over $1,000.
May 8
1 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on the 100 block of East Indian Street and arrested Chelsea Sparvier, 41, of Poplar, for driving under the influence and endangering the welfare of a child.
8:44 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Third Avenue South and arrested Adam Runs-through, 49, of Wolf Point, for public urination, public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
9:18 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Fourth Avenue South for a report of a suspicious individual. The investigation continues.
May 9
1:20 p.m., officers conducted an investigative pedestrian stop and cited Harris McConnell, 49, of Wolf Point, for public urination.
9:41 p.m., officers conducted an investigative traffic stop on the 200 block of Anaconda Street. A 13-year-old Wolf Point female was cited for no driver’s license. A 15-year-old Wolf Point female, a 13-year-old Wolf Point female and a 16-year-old Wolf Point male were cited for minor in possession of alcohol. Seth Laverdure, 18, of Wolf Point, was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and minor in possession.
May 10
12:43 a.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Granville Street and arrested Torry Flynn, 37, of Frazer, for driving under the influence.
5:54 p.m., officers are investigating a report of an attempted burglary with no reported loss or damage on the 500 block of Helena Street.
7:17 p.m., officers responded to Faith Lutheran Home for a report of theft with a loss valued under $1,000. Charges are pending.
8:12 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of First Avenue South for a report of a suspicious individual. The investigation continues.
10:13 p.m., officers responded to Albertson’s for a report of shoplifting with a loss valued under $1,000. The investigation continues.
May 11
1:56 a.m., officers responded to Stockman’s 220 Club for a report of an assault that left a 24-year-old Poplar woman with minor injuries. Officers cited Jesus Ocegkeda, 21, of Washington, for assault.
11:56 a.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Edgar Street for a report of theft from a residence with a loss valued over $1,000. Charges are pending.
1:26 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of Idaho Street and arrested Kam Corpron, 31, of Wolf Point, for disorderly conduct.
4:09 p.m., officers responded to Cenex West for a report of an assault that resulted in minor injuries to a 23-year-old Wolf Point female. Charges are pending.
10:48 p.m., officers responded to the Sherman Inn for a report of theft from a vehicle with a loss valued under $1,000. Charges are pending.

In addition to the above calls, the WPPD responded to the following calls between May 5 and 11: checks of wellbeing,  seven; civil standby, one; domestic disturbance, eight; public assistance, 12; motor vehicle accident, one; removal of unwanted individuals, 10; animal complaints, three; medical assistance, seven; fire assistance, one; alarm, three; assist other agency, seven; unfounded report, six; and driving complaints, six.
