FPCC Sends Team To Compete In Consortium

A team from Fort Peck CO mm unity College left on March 15 to compete in the 2014 Indian American Higher Education Consortium in Billings. The consortium will last through the March 19.

During the consortium the FPCC team will compete against teams from other tribal colleges coming from throughout the U.S.

They will compete in business writing, knowledge bowl, speeches, science bowl, volleyball, chess, archery, art show, critical inquiry, one act plays, attend workshops, attend pow wows and listen to guest speakers. The seven Montana Tribes are hosting the event this year.

Also in news from FPCC, they complete mid-terms last week and will be on spring break this week.
Graduation has been scheduled for May 17. The evening before graduation, May 16, there will be a pow wow which is slated to be held in Wolf Point.

Next week, we will have results to share on the results from the team from the consortium.
