The Wolf Point High School Tobacco Prevention Coalition kicked off Red Ribbon Week with a combined activity. Each year, the coalition ties the American Cancer Society's "Celebrate More Birthdays" campaign with other tobacco prevention awareness activities. This year, it was decided to combine the celebration with Red Ribbon Week. The student coalition decided to give a cookie to each student who committed to be drug-, alcohol- and tobacco-free. At a table set up in the main lobby of the Wolf Point High School, coalition members an agreement for students to sign as well as the cookies. Throughout the day, 120 high school and junior high students signed the agreements and received cookies. At the end of the activity, the signed agreements were given to the high school principal. The number of students who signed the agreements was impressive.
